BICSI India to deliberate on Evolution of ICT Infrastructure in IoT and Co-working

BICSI today announced that its India District Conference will be held on September 20, 2019 at Shangri-La, Bangalore. The conference will showcase latest capabilities in ICT and debate how ICT infrastructure has evolved significantly and its advancements has contributed to the augmentation of IoT competence and enabled hyper-connectivity between devices, while creating greater synergy & flexibility for work-space optimization. Highlighting how co-working spaces foster networking & collaboration, Mr. Deben Moza, Executive Director – Head of Project management services – Knight Frank India, will be delivering the keynote address.

“ICT infrastructure is swiftly moving forward and has been playing a significant role in enabling new applications that will facilitate cross-industry transformation and embracing the use of Internet of Things (IoT) is the next step,” said Mr. Ninad Desai, District Chair, BICSI India. Emerging ICT technologies have been the key enablers of co-working spaces and an advanced ICT infrastructure is certain to drive competence and collaboration, he added.

As new-age technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) playing a significant role in IoT applications and deployment, BICSI continues to lead the way that put emerging ICT technologies and their engagement with real-world applications at the forefront. Demystifying the IoT ecosystem, Mr. Bala Chitoor, Co-founder & Chief Strategy Officer, Flamenco Tech, will be sharing his outlook on capabilities & implications of IoT deployments across enterprises.

The congregation would feature a series of technology-focused sessions and invaluable opportunities to experience hands-on demonstrations and gain acumen on latest innovations, best practices in networking / ICT design and infrastructure challenges, while an extensive product pavilion will be showcasing leading-edge products. Felicitation of new BICSI credential holders and an ICT IQ quiz will also be held concurrently.

The technology conclave will feature engaging presentations on: IoT- The digital nervous system; Evolution of ICT infrastructure in co -working; Pervasive connectivity; IoT: The new convergence and the challenges it brings; Learn to succeed – the credential way to professional success; RJ45 Cat.8: a topic for LAN; Considerations for PoE lighting; Cabling infrastructure design; IOT changing networking landscape & why testing matters, along with a technical presentation by Hilti.

An intensive pre-conference technical workshop and skill-developing session designed for ICT professionals will provide in-depth insights into: ICT media selection, Installation and FO cleaning skills, Telecom project management – (Master class), DCDC – (Master class), FTTh, Fire stopping for critical areas and Telecom bonding & grounding.

BICSI provides information, education and knowledge assessment for individuals and companies in the ICT industry serving professionals, including designers, installers and technicians.
