Wipro Limited has won one of its largest multi-year strategic transformation engagements from Olam Group, a Singapore-headquartered food and agri-business giant. The 8-year deal, announced on April 6, 2026, is projected to exceed $1 billion in value with a committed spend of $800 million.
The partnership involves Wipro providing end-to-end transformation services using a consulting-led, AI-powered approach powered by Wipro Intelligence, its suite of AI platforms and solutions. Services will span Olam’s ‘farm-to-fork’ value chain, targeting farming, forecasting, trading, supply chain, and customer engagement to boost efficiency and resilience. As part of the agreement, Wipro will acquire Mindsprint, Olam’s IT and digital services arm with over 3,200 employees in India, expected to close by June 2026 pending approvals.
Olam Group Co-Founder and CEO Sunny Verghese highlighted Wipro’s scale and innovation to support Olam’s agility and reorganization goals, combining Mindsprint’s agri-expertise with Wipro’s strengths. Wipro CEO Srini Pallia noted the deal expands farm-to-fork capabilities and welcomes Mindsprint to drive innovation for Olam and industry clients.
This collaboration underscores growing tech investments in agri-business amid demands for sustainable, scalable operations.
