TCS has been positioned as a Leader in NelsonHall’s NEAT evaluation for Cloud Advisory, Assessment and Migration Services. In an assessment of 15 global service providers, TCS has been positioned highest for its ability to deliver immediate benefit, as well as meet future client requirements.

“A cloud-first strategy is a foundational element of our customers’ digital transformation journey in a Business 4.0 world,” said Krishnan Ramanujam, President, Business & Technology Services group, TCS. “Our leadership ranking in this assessment is a validation of our comprehensive offerings for cloud enablement, the market success we are experiencing, and our customer-centric approach that anticipates the market’s future needs.”

TCS offers a comprehensive portfolio of services around cloud enablement, consisting of advisory services, strategy and roadmap definition, cloud discovery and assessment, deployment and implementation, cybersecurity, platform related services, workload migration and hybrid managed services, spanning public, private and hybrid cloud environments.

In keeping with its industry-leading Machine First Delivery Model. TCS offers a variety of proprietary automation tools and accelerators to reduce the time to market and deliver differentiated outcomes. ation-driven migration of infrastructure, applications, databased and end-user workspaces to cloud along with cross cloud migration.

Based on the transformation path of the individual workload, TCS re-architects existing applications using microservices or replaces them with new cloud-native applications or with third-party SaaS/PaaS alternatives. TCS’ transformation teams adopt agile methodologies to build and test these applications for better performance and reliability, and deploy them with faster time-to-production using DevOps.

Workload transformation is accelerated using TCS’ industry blueprints, which leverage the organization’s deep domain expertise across multiple industries. These provide a templatized approach for migrating industry-specific applications and common business functions to the optimal target IT environment.

TCS has strategic relationships with all of the leading cloud technology providers, like AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google. For customers with special requirements, TCS’ Enterprise Cloud Platform (ECP) offers a broad range of flexible private cloud infrastructure options, including PaaS. Its data services backbone is powered by the SMACK stack (Spark, Mesos, Akka, Cassandra, Kafka), a proven open source stack that helps clients who have a need for big data, analytics, IoT, and streaming data workload requirements.

TCS has an extensive portfolio of cloud-based IP, with a proven record of enabling faster time to market, reducing risk and delivering business value. These are TCS’ Advanced Drug Development Platform, ERP on Cloud, HOBS (Hosted OSS/BSS for CSPs), iON assessment platform, TAP™ for Procure to Pay, CHROMA™ for talent management, Intelligent Urban Exchange, and TCS BaNCS Cloud for Banking and Financial Services customers.

David McIntire, IT Services Research Director with NelsonHall, said: “Clients are looking to cloud as the foundation for broader digital transformation, and seek guidance on how to best migrate an entire application landscape to the cloud.
