IIFL Home Loans has announced the appointment of Sumit Chadha as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO), reinforcing the company’s commitment to accelerating its digital transformation and enhancing customer-centric innovation.
In his new role, Chadha will lead the organization’s technology strategy, focusing on strengthening digital infrastructure, driving data-led decision-making, and delivering seamless, technology-enabled customer experiences. He will also oversee initiatives in areas such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and platform modernization.
Chadha brings over two decades of experience in digital transformation and IT strategy and has worked across various financial services sector.
Prior to joining IIFL Home Loans, he held the position of Chief Information Officer (CIO) at India Mortgage Guarantee Corporation (IMGC) for nearly five years. During his tenure, he was instrumental in advancing technology-driven innovation, upgrading digital infrastructure, and spearheading enterprise-wide transformation initiatives across the organization.
Earlier in his career, he spent over nine years at PNB Housing Finance Limited, where he held senior technology leadership roles, including Head of Information Technology and Deputy General Manager – IT Business Applications. He further deepened his expertise in lending and credit technology through his work at Nucleus Software, managing the FinnOne Suite, and at ICICI Bank, where he served as a Regional Credit Manager.
