RAH Infotech, India’s leading value-added distributor and solutions provider of technology products, and digital transformation solutions and services, has announced the appointment of Commander Aditya Varma (Retd.) as Vice President – Defence Consulting.

Cmdr Aditya Varma (Retd.) will be based out of the company headquarters in New Delhi consolidating RAH Infotech’s foothold as a distributor and solutions provider for the defence sector.

An Indian Navy veteran, Information Communication Technology (ICT) and cybersecurity consultant, Cmdr Aditya Varma (Retd.) comes with more than two decades of experience in ICT, cybersecurity, supply chain operations and HR training management.

“I am honoured to welcome Cmdr Aditya Varma (Retd.) to the RAH Infotech’s leadership team. In his successful career spanning over two decades, Cmdr Varma has served in multiple tech ICT leadership roles in Military Operations and Supply Chain Management. He has also served as the Chief ICT Officer for various mobile platforms. As the latest addition to RAH’s leadership team, we are looking forward to finding our footing in the defence sector and disruptive technology that helps solve complex technical business problems at scale such as quantum cryptography, blockchain for Ops supply chain, IIoT, AR/VR, big data and AI/ML implementations. Cmdr Aditya Varma’s (Retd.) leadership is expected to strengthen our entire defence vertical, propelling RAH Infotech to new heights in this domain,” said Ashok Kumar, Founder and Managing Director at RAH Infotech.

RAH Infotech has been strong support for its OEM partners in the digital transformation solutions and services division. The Make in India initiative and, the foundation being provided for technological advancement in all verticals, by the Indian government, has led the team to branch out in the defence and government vertical. RAH Infotech has a range of offerings aimed at new government projects to ensure next-generation security, including modernisation, data security, analytics, and integration. The defence vertical is of paramount importance to India due to its critical role in national security. Cmdr Aditya Varma (Retd.) will oversee the consulting and sales aspects for the defence vertical, government and national security projects ensuring that our solutions meet the specific needs of this critical sector.

As a graduate of The National Defence Academy, Pune, Cmdr Aditya Varma (Retd.) is a certified Project and Risk Management Professional. He has a double Masters in Science (Tele Com) from Cochin University of Science & Technology, Kerala and in Business Administration (Leadership & Global Strategy) from Deakin University, Australia. Cmdr Aditya Varma has been commended by the Government of India for exceptional service as a Senior Program Management Professional and transition specialist with demonstrated ability to achieve timely project closure resulting in high-profit yields. He is highly proficient with the latest evolving, disruptive technology and industrial best practices, that positively impact the bottom line. Cmdr Aditya Varma (Retd.) is skilled in large-scale systems of systems integrations, innovatively, fusing hardware, software and niche rapidly evolving tech. On the personal front, he enjoys horse riding and a round of golf on weekends.
