Icertis, the leading provider of enterprise contract management in the cloud, announced the appointment of Curt Anderson as Chief Financial Officer of Icertis. Curt brings more than 25 years of finance and business operations experience to Icertis.
As CFO, Curt will take charge of the finance department and oversee all aspects of financial management needed to further fuel Icertis’ rapid growth and expanding operations. He will lead the company’s financial operations including strategic planning, financial analysis, accounting and compliance, and core business systems and processes.
“The CFO is a critical role in any company, but especially in a dynamic startup like Icertis. It is essential for us to enhance our leadership strength as the company continues to scale to match our rapid growth,” said Samir Bodas, CEO and Co-founder of Icertis. “As soon as my Co-founder Monish and I met Curt, we knew he was the right person to take our financial acumen to the next level on Icertis’ journey to become the enterprise contract management platform of the world.”
Most recently, Curt was CFO of startup Chef Software, where he oversaw Finance, HR, Legal and Sales Operations. Prior to Chef, he had a long career at Microsoft, including serving as CFO of the Cloud & Enterprise Division and CFO of the Manufacturing and Supply Chain Group. He also held senior leadership roles in both Finance and Operations for the Enterprise Partner Group and led Investor Relations. Prior to Microsoft, Curt held various roles at Amazon and began his career at Deloitte.
“After speaking with Samir, Monish and the rest of the leadership team, I knew this was an opportunity I couldn’t pass up,” said Curt. “I am excited to join Icertis as the company continues to transform the foundation of commerce and I look forward to leading the global finance and accounting teams.”
Curt joins Icertis during a period of rapid global expansion with the recent addition of customers from around the world including Airbus and Philip Morris International in Europe; Australian Unity in Australia; MODEC in Ghana and more. The company also expanded its geographic presence – opening three offices in Europe and two offices in Asia Pacific – and is continuing to receive recognition for being a market leader.
