FIAT India Automobiles Pvt. Ltd. has appointed Amit Shukla as its new Chief Information Officer (CIO), reinforcing the company’s commitment to accelerating digital transformation and technology-driven business innovation across its automotive operations. The appointment comes as the automotive industry continues to embrace AI, connected manufacturing, data intelligence, and cybersecurity to enhance competitiveness and operational resilience.
Shukla joins FIAT India after nearly three years at Crystal Crop Protection Limited, where he played a pivotal role in driving enterprise technology initiatives and digital modernization. At FIAT India Automobiles, he will be responsible for shaping the organization’s IT strategy, strengthening cybersecurity capabilities, advancing AI and data-driven decision-making, and aligning digital investments with business growth objectives.
Announcing his new role, Shukla shared:

Shukla acknowledged his previous organization, Crystal Crop Protection, and its leadership for supporting his professional journey over the past three years.
Shukla brings more than two decades of cross-industry technology leadership spanning manufacturing, automotive, engineering, FMCG, pharmaceuticals, and industrial enterprises. Throughout his career, he has led large-scale digital transformation programs focused on enterprise applications, cloud adoption, cybersecurity, infrastructure modernization, advanced analytics, and business process optimization. He has also been recognized among India’s leading CIOs for his contributions to enterprise technology leadership.
