Accenture has announced the appointment of Pradeep Prabhala as the new lead for its India Market Unit, effective September 1, 2026.
In his new role, Prabhala will oversee Accenture’s strategic operations and growth inside India, which remains a key technology-led reinvention market for the company. He will closely collaborate with local enterprises to implement data and artificial intelligence (AI) strategies aimed at expanding business scaling, accelerating productivity, and structuring future-ready operations.
Driving Innovation and GCC Expansion
Beyond domestic enterprise growth, Prabhala will spearhead Accenture’s international priorities by supporting multinational corporations looking to set up and scale Global Capability Centres (GCCs) across India. These centers serve as primary engines for global enterprise innovation, technical resilience, and organizational transformation.
Prabhala brings over twenty years of experience managing global enterprise transformations, large-scale digital initiatives, and technology implementations. This leadership change comes at a time when the broader Indian information technology sector is witnessing strong enterprise demand for advanced AI deployment and data center infrastructure capabilities. Before joining Accenture, he was a partner at McKinsey & Company, where he led the firm’s consumer sector practice in India and its agriculture practice across Asia.
India market outlook
For Accenture, India is emerging as a critical centre for both domestic client work and global delivery, underpinned by rapid digital adoption and the rise of GCCs across sectors such as financial services, technology and consumer goods. With Prabhala at the helm of the India Market Unit, the company aims to deepen its investments in leadership and capabilities to help clients scale AI, modernise operations and unlock new growth opportunities in the years ahead.
