New Physical AI facility at TCS Global Axis Campus will accelerate AI-led mobility and industrial solutions using NVIDIA AI Infrastructure

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) today announced the launch of the TCS Autonomous Engineering Lab Powered by NVIDIA at its Global Axis campus in Bengaluru.  The new facility will serve as a physical AI hub to accelerate the development and real-world deployment of AI-led solutions across mobility and manufacturing using NVIDIA AI Infrastructure.

The lab, which is the first of its kind, will help enterprises move from pilots to production scale deployment to design, test and validate Industrial AI solutions.  It will enable customers to leverage TCS’ domain expertise and accelerators to rapidly prototype and simulate use cases across a wide range of industries before deploying them in real-world mobility, manufacturing and industrial operations.

Sreenivasa Chakravarti, Global Head & Vice President of Industrial Autonomy and Engineering, TCS, said, “Bengaluru has long been the engine of India’s economy, and this lab harnesses that energy to reimagine what’s possible with AI. By combining NVIDIA’s powerful AI platform with TCS’ Industrial Autonomy & Engineering capabilities, we are creating a space where ideas move rapidly from concept to real-world impact, shaping the future of mobility and industrial systems. As we move forward into our next phase and deepen our collaboration, we will build on this momentum into scaled deployment and enterprise-wide transformation for more customers, with confidence and speed.”

Alvin DaCosta, Vice President, AI Consulting Partners organization, NVIDIA, said, “As enterprises push to operationalize AI across physical operations, they require specialized infrastructure to bridge the gap between simulation and real-world deployment. Through this collaboration, the TCS Industrial Autonomy & Engineering Lab leverages the full stack NVIDIA AI platform to offer customers a scalable pathway for validating and implementing their next-generation industrial solutions.”

The lab will support enterprises in reimagining products, operations and business models by embedding intelligence across the engineering and manufacturing lifecycle. Through TCS’ Industrial Autonomy & Engineering (IA&E) capabilities, customers will be able to integrate AI into products, plants and operational systems to enable intelligent, software-defined, and autonomous enterprises.

The lab features a comprehensive suite of solutions across mobility and industrial domains, including:

  • TCS DriveSphere
A connected, AI-led mobility platform enabling software-defined vehicles through digital twins, real-time data ingestion, predictive analytics, and over-the-air lifecycle management.
  • AI-led Mobility & Autonomous Systems Solutions
Built on full stack NVIDIA AI infrastructure, these solutions enable advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), autonomous driving capabilities, perception systems, and intelligent decision-making.
  • Physical AI & Smart Manufacturing Use Cases
AI embedded into machines, plants, and industrial systems to enable predictive maintenance, automated quality inspection, and real-time process optimization.
  • Agentic AI & Vision AI Solutions
Advanced AI systems capable of contextual decision-making across engineering, manufacturing, and service operations—enabling higher levels of autonomy.
  • Digital Twin & Simulation Environments
High-fidelity simulations, supported by blueprints of Industrial Autonomy for vehicles, factories, and operations powered by NVIDIA technologies to accelerate design validation, scenario testing, and lifecycle optimization.

The lab will also help teams move from idea to execution faster by enabling rapid prototyping and validation. It provides a controlled environment for testing solutions before rollout, reducing deployment risks and improving time-to-market. Through this lab, enterprises will also gain access to NVIDIA’s ecosystem and computing capabilities.

This initiative builds on the longstanding collaboration between TCS and NVIDIA across AI, accelerated computing, and industry-specific solutions. The new lab represents a significant expansion of this collaboration moving beyond technology integration to deeper capability building, client engagement, and solution development.
