SUSE has announced the appointment of Marshal Correia as General Manager for India and South Asia. The move underscores SUSE’s commitment to strengthening its presence in one of the fastest-growing technology markets in the world.
In his new role, Correia will be responsible for driving SUSE’s regional strategy, expanding its customer base, and accelerating adoption of its open-source solutions across key industries. He will also oversee partnerships, sales operations, and go-to-market initiatives across India and neighboring South Asian countries.
Correia brings with him over two decades of experience in the technology industry, with a strong background in enterprise software, cloud computing, and digital transformation. Prior to joining SUSE, he held leadership roles at several global technology firms, where he played a pivotal role in scaling business operations and building high-performing teams.
SUSE emphasized that the region is a strategic priority, given the increasing demand for open, interoperable, and secure enterprise solutions. Organizations across sectors such as banking, telecommunications, healthcare, and public services are turning to open-source technologies to modernize their IT infrastructure.
The company has been expanding its footprint in India through strategic partnerships and increased engagement with enterprises adopting hybrid cloud and containerized environments. SUSE’s solutions, including its enterprise Linux platform, Kubernetes management tools, and edge computing capabilities, are gaining traction among organizations seeking flexibility and scalability.
With Correia at the helm, SUSE aims to further strengthen its position as a trusted partner for enterprises navigating complex digital transformation journeys across the region.
