Infosys has announced a strategic collaboration with OpenAI to help enterprises transform software development and modernization using advanced AI models and tools such as Codex. By integrating OpenAI’s technology with Infosys Topaz Fabric—its composable, open, and purpose-built agentic services platform—Infosys aims to help organizations move beyond experimentation and achieve practical, responsible deployment with measurable business outcomes.

This collaboration targets high-impact industry and functional areas, with an initial focus on software engineering, legacy modernization, DevOps automation, e-commerce, and other engineering-driven domains. By combining Codex, workflow automation, and prebuilt AI agents with Infosys’ poly-AI architecture and enterprise governance, the initiative is designed to modernize development workflows, boost engineering productivity, accelerate delivery cycles, and reduce time-to-market.

Leveraging its deep industry expertise and global delivery capabilities across application modernization, software engineering, and enterprise transformation, Infosys is well positioned to operationalize Codex in real delivery environments. The collaboration will enable organizations to redesign workflows, enhance engineering execution, and move from early experimentation to scaled adoption in a practical, responsible way.
